OT: I hate making a post like this, but just have to get something off my chest. Sorry to waste anyone's time. Hopefully, the only ones offended will be "the guilty" -- they know who they are, and can wear the shoes if they fit. Anyone who honestly feels they're not among those being criticized, can assume I'm not referring to them (which means they needn't feel compelled to respond -- in this case, a protest may just amount to an admission)...
Just yesterday, in a PM to someone, I actually mentioned how nice THAT day had seemed for a change on this thread -- for some reason, a lot of the recent hypsters and insult-artists seemed to be gone, and it was almost like the old-days when the "core group" dominated (the ones who actually try to help one-another, instead of pursuing their own agendas).
Well, guess that observation was premature -- because the "others" sure seem to be back in-force today. Maybe Monday just happened to be jerks'-day-off -- or maybe they were all gathering-together someplace to plot their strategy for the holiday-season. In any case, the past two hours or so have seen one of the worst (and most exhausting) "waves" of garbage-posts that I've seen in a long time. I really pity any "newbie" who might've been reading any of this stuff and trying to figure out what to make of the dozens of stocks mentioned, and which really have any merit. I've gotten a headache myself just trying to wade-through all the junk that's been mixed-in amongst some "legitimate" tips and suggestions. Thank heaven I don't actually have any extra cash at the moment to toss-around, so I haven't been tempted to take any "flyers" myself and likely get burned in the process.
I don't know what we can do about this for right now, except suggest that the "guilty parties" take some more time-off or at least go bother some other poor, unsuspecting thread. But I somehow feel better for having "vented" -- so I'll go back now to posting only info that I think might actually be of use to somebody...
