The MM moved the Ask up to 11 7/8 after the Sell of 3200 shares at 11 1/4 first thing this morning; figure that one out. From what I have seen, any shares sold at 11 1/4 have been bought at 11 5/8. The last trade appeared to be a 5K buy at 11 5/8. I believe there are standing Buy orders at 11 5/8, waiting for any 11 1/4 shares that become available--believe the MM will sell you shares inside of the spread if you have a large enough order to make it worthwhile to him. The 11 7/8 Ask is for anyone willing (or foolish enough) to place a market order to buy.
