TORONTO (Dow Jones)--CrossKeys Systems Corp. (CKEY) isn't expecting any
revenue from its acquisition of Dynamic Broadband Networks until its first
quarter of fiscal 2001, company officials said on a conference call early
Tuesday.

As reported early Tuesday, CrossKeys is buying Dynamic Broadband of Allentown,
Pa. for US$10 million in cash and 2 million warrants to buy CrossKeys shares
between US$6.75 and US$9 over the next several years. The deal will close in
early January.

CrossKeys' second quarter ended Nov. 28.

Dynamic has 12 employees and has five ongoing trials with unnamed customers
for its broadband network management software, meaning it has no revenue to
date.

On the call, CrossKeys officials said they expect the deal to increase
earnings in fiscal 2001, though they declined to say by how much. They also
declined to say how much revenue the acquisition can add.
