Broke?? Gracious, what do you think credit cards are for? Seven hundred smackeroonies just crossed the transom at Saks and Macy's and nary a dent in my wallet width. Thirty days is an eternity. I am wagering on Y2K, shelling out merrily on the assumption that God will smithereen First Card's massive mainframes with lightning bolts some ten days and change from now.
