My recollection was that some of the greetings contained URLs, which is why I drew a similar inference. But, I had a good time at the office Christmas party, first one in my new office, first one for them, too, and I had a pleasant time getting to know everyone, and drinking real, home-made eggnog, so I am in no mood to argue, at least in the unpleasant sense. I do love to argue about ideas, it spoils it when people lose their temper and speak unkindly to each other. I don't like it when I lose my own temper and speak unkindly, I don't like it when people lose their temper at me and speak unkindly, and I don't like it when people speak unkindly to others. Maybe we can make a New Year's resolution to focus on ideas and not personalities. |
