To Thread: JP Morgan analyst Greg Geiling speculated tonight that Nokia or Kyocera Corp would be the buyer of the Q's handset division. He also speculated that the terms of the contract would include the buyer to buy chips from the Q for years to come. "This transaction will be accretive to earnings." The bigger the buyer, the netter the deal for Q since the company's main source of rev. after the sale will be from semiconductors and royalties. "If Nokia is involed, that would give the Q better long-term visibility."

600 is around the corner. 6 more trading days left in 1999.
