... just finished watching Nova ... ... the electric heart ... excellent ... to a medical novice like me, it seemed professional, credible and even exciting. I can't see how the major media outlets can miss picking up on the story shortly. ... includes quite a bit of David Lederman ... the audio mentions Abiomed ... company name appears on the screen and the company logo and considerable detail about the AbioCor, and if I remember correctly, a clear and firm statement by the Nova narrator that, "the AbioCor will be tested in humans during the year 2000." ... in terms of increasing shareholder value I do not think that we could ask for much more. ... in the Boston area, the program will be on the other two PBS stations in the area within the next 24 hours - I expect that this is probably true in other large metropolitan areas around the country as well.
