Eric S Raymond's analysis and dissection of social, cultural, economic and technical evolution are clear, concise, and have the simple and obvious at their core. Thus truth is ever close. The stories that he uses are very amusing and compelling. In open source evolution nothing Eric has ever said contradict's any of my life's play. I doubt that the harúmoúniúous truth of Mr. Raymond's words could ever be caught in the limited vectors of an mp3. Seeing Eric in person demonstrated to me a warm, funny, thoughful and modest individual who is amazingly full of constructive comment. But I also see in Eric a little boy who never brew up just like me and thus some just don't get the joke as they are different enabled. A face to inspire. watman.com watman.com has a few more.
