Yo_Glenn, can you or anyone help me out here. I'm on another thread and found the following post below. Since I'm not a techie I can't add anything to his request. I'd like to see if he is for real.
OK - I am getting ready to do my own tests with Rambus and i820 based boards
and would like to give DRDRAM a fair shake. I will have most of the pieces
in place next week, so now I will ask for suggestions and/or
contributions...
1) Besides the 'normal' benchmark tests (Winstone, STREAM, etc.), does
anyone have some specific application benchmark that they would like to see
run? If it requires a license for the software, I probably won't be able
to do it however unless someone wants to donate the software. (My site isn't
sponsored like most of those sites that are quoted here - at least not
yet!).
2) For the computer engineers in the NG, if you have any custom benchmarks
you would like to see run please let me hear from you. I have received a
'contribution' from one individual who has some very specific features he
wants to test out.
If anyone has any other ideas, pointers, comments, benchmarks, etc., etc., please post.
