I don't know, Mike. I spent several months studying in Sweden and it was about $27 just for a Pizza Hut pizza, not to mention the lutefisk.
Unless they do videoconferencing, it might cost at least $1200-$1600 per round trip on SAS and they don't partner with America West. They could fly United to Arlanda but the price of the bus into town may not be included. Such startup costs... I hope they fly coach for our sake.

OK, so I am at my own edge of sarcasm and disbelief. The way some peole interpret this is incredible when you consider that they turned down the chance to produce nicorette for a fraction of the potential that they have just negotiated.

I read the release over and over & there is nothing bad for Gum Tech in there:
1. GUMM must come up with the recipes and figure out how to produce the products.
2. GUMM must come up with the manufacturing and warehousing for the product.
3. GUMM must have a valid checking acccount to receive the $10 million and someone in one of the two companies has know how to convert Kroner to dollars.
4. Swedish Match must come up with the cash.
5. Swedish Match must come up with a worldwide distribution system and develop a customer base.

Oh wait, both companies have basically done all that. Gum Tech has already dedicated a part of their expanded plant to nicotine - they had when I visited the plant in August. This is what they have spent a year and a million bucks getting ready for. Basically, they have done what they promised.

While not terribly detailed, this is a very straightforward announcement. And it is very good for the company.
