As far as Hillsboro products, the following text was from either the latest 10Q or the annual report:

"as of early fiscal 1999(a long time ago), the products historically manufactured in the Hillsboro facility and planned for the near term were principally SRAM and x86 uP products"... "As a result of low market prices, the cash flows generated by sales of products manufactured at Hillboro were disproportionate to the cost of the facility and significantly less than the cash flows from other facilities"

In Q2 2000, the Company recorded a $131.9M asset impairment and other charge which related primarily to an asset impairment reserve recorded against the 8-inch fab at Hillsboro.
+++++++++++
If you go to the IDT web page there are some slides from the annual meeting that show some info on the fab. If I recall, its not filled(with equipment) by any means. They also elude to process tech moving to 0.18 micron -- this is good news, IF they can execute the transition. IDT fell flat on their faces when it tried to scale the x86 product line to smaller line widths(and get more MHz).

I have said this before, IDT doesn't own any "killer" products that people are knocking down the doors to get to. They compete with others in all product areas and will see revenue growth primarily due to the entire industry seeing a uptick in demand. They are wise to persue communication products as this sector will continue to outpace the rest of the semiconductor industry.
