I agree with part of this: when you say nobody knows who will be left standing when the shakeout happens... And that's just it - nobody knows who will be left standing - but this occurrs on a monthly, if not weekly basis - who's hot and who's not - just look at who the leaders are in Video Cards, Hard-Drives, etc. the top-10 list changes every few months.... and that is the reason WEB doesn't get into these - because he can't figure out where ANYBODY will be in 5 or 10 years from now in the Tech Industry. Where was Linux 2 years ago ? it was around, but nowhere near as prevalent as it is - or is going to be. And i wonder what happened to Syquest and IOmega...
