heinz, the Viennese electric utility simply put it's computers' clocks back to 1972... ROTFLOL...It is cheaper than rewriting the code. German ministry of Justice did a trial run of it's systems yesterday, which promptly led to a total power outage lasting several hours. a day earlier it was stated in a press release that they were 'fully prepared'. Lesson: Do the test, THEN issue the press release. Not the other way around. Europe disappoints me. I would have expected better from them. Did they overlook that the last millenium change resulted in the Dark Ages? jttmab
