Tenchu, Those people who are short of intel parts are busy at work now getting mobos ready so that next time they can have an alternat path to follow. The lack of pin for pin swap ability of the P-III and the Athlon means that once you have no P-III you are in a blind alley...no escape.
Same with the Athlon, but that is ramping up and a whole lot of people will now keep an Athlon path alive, just in case. Once they keep it alive as an option, for a few $ less, they will find a number of people will take it....they call this share....now Intel must share the high end, and the low end, and the middle, soon server space will be shared.
