HeadGames Publishing and Jugular's ''Street Luge Racing'' PC Game Screams Onto Retail Shelves the Week of Dec. 20

Players Who Have a Need For Speed Can Get Their Fix With HeadGames' Latest Extreme Sports Sim

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 22, 1999-- Players who ever wanted to experience the retina-searing thrill of ripping down a winding highway at 80 mph on a steel plank with wheels, will get their chance when HeadGames Publishing and Jugular's® ''Street Luge Racing'' hits retail outlets nationwide the week of Dec. 20, 1999.

Jugular's ''Street Luge Racing'' is the first PC game dedicated to the illegal and highly dangerous sport of street luge. Jugular, the hip new brand of extreme sports products based in Huntington Beach, Calif., sponsors Gravity Games(TM) champions Sean ''The Duck'' Mallard and Wode Sokol -- who star in the game and assisted in its creation. This exciting new game also features several hit songs from the multi-platinum band, The Offspring(TM).

With the thrill of downhill skiing and the speed of NASCAR, ''Street Luge Racing'' adds a new level of excitement to the traditional race game. Aside from competing against other racers, players have to dodge police barricades, avoid pedestrians and weave in and out of traffic to make it to the finish line in one piece.

''Street Luge Racing'' features multiple race formats for players to test their mettle, including: Practice, Season modes, four- and six-man. Eight beautifully rendered and incredibly treacherous 3-D courses will push players' reflexes to the limit, and those who really want to live on the edge can play any of the eight courses in severe weather or at night. Players can compete against as many as five computer opponents, including Team Jugular Street Luge athletes.

''Street Luge Racing'' also features a number of advanced options usually only found in complex racing simulations. Players can upgrade their equipment and optimize their luge for more realistic in-game physics. Virtual lugers can also gain a competitive edge by switching from the nine various camera angles available.

Minimum system requirements for the game include a Pentium 200 Mhz, Windows 95/98, 32 MB RAM, 4x-speed CD-ROM drive, 155 MB of available hard disk space, Microsoft DirectX 7.0 compatible video card, sound card, mouse and SVGA monitor.
