It's interesting how the brokerages come to the rescue at a time like this, whereas we all remember how in the bad times, if news from dpmi would have come out like this, the whole sector would have been crushed, and everyone would have stayed quiet(perhaps because they couldn't announce something good to counter because there was no good news). Now the companies immediately counter and the anaysts fight back, too. I half expected amat to announce a split this am, as an in your face slam dunk to anyone who dared to think there was anything amiss right now.
