Elmer, re:<downbinning CuMine256K's to CuMine128K's> Yes, I'm sure that most CuMine128K's will be a smaller die specifically designed for the smaller cache. Will the CuMine128K have the 256 bit wide, half rate L2, aka, advanced transfer cache? If not, a "downbinned CuMine" might significantly outperform the smaller cache variety. Petz
