That is an excellent point Greg, and one that we should all keep in mind. Our research on this thread is light years ahead of the average person. Someone at my work was mentioning a stock that had doubled this year. I told him to look into MRVC. He looked at the chart and said: "Wow. what does MRVC do?". I replied "Next generation optical networking products.". He looked a bit further, then came back and said that this was "one of those internet stocks" and that he wouldn't touch them because they were "nothing but air".
