NEON Awarded SWIFTReady Gold 2000 for B2B Financial Systems
DENVER, Dec. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- New Era of Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: NEON - news) today announced that NEON e-Biz Integrator, IBM's MQSeries Integrator and NEON Adapter for SWIFT are the first e-Business Integration products to be SWIFTReady Gold 2000 recertified by the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (S.W.I.F.T.).
''Upon demand of many customers, S.W.I.F.T. has implemented, as part of the SWIFTReady Gold 2000 recertification, a very extensive test of the connectivity of all SWIFTReady Gold integration vendors to SWIFTAlliance,'' said Phillipe Lecomte, SWIFTReady programme manager for the S.W.I.F.T alliance. ''NEON products achieved this without any problem, and have been granted the SWIFTReady Gold 2000 logo for integration for the coming year,'' Lecomte added.
S.W.I.F.T. provides business-to-business (B2B) technology-based communication services across all financial markets through member banks so they can profitably meet their own and their end customers' needs.
''For our customers, such as Alliance Capital, Barclay's Global Investors, Industrial Bank of Japan, London Clearinghouse, Mitsubishi Trust Bank, PIMCO, WAMCO and other large global financial services companies, this Gold 2000 label reiterates that NEON products will take their businesses safely into the new millennium,'' said Peter Hoversten, senior vice president of product strategy for NEON. ''We continue to demonstrate why our core technology is the preferred e-Business integration technology for the global financial services market.''
The recertification of NEON's products involved testing of CASmf-based products. NEON's products use CASmf to provide a real-time link to SWIFTAlliance Access and ST400. No errors occurred during the testing of the software. NEON's successful product testing and recertification also included NEONadapter for S.W.I.F.T.
