From SmartStockAdvisor: Board Responsiveness Program and Answers
HouseHold Direct.com and SmartStockAdvisor have worked out a program to now be more responsive to relevant and significant questions posed on the Internet boards and via phone or e-mail to SmartStockAdvisor. To set expectations, our goal will be to answer the important questions first, typically within 4 hours, if posed between 8am EST and 6pm EST. Answers that we have readily available will be posted sooner than questions that must be addressed by the Company. If an answer requires a longer period than 4 hours we will offer an explanation why. If a question does not get answered, we strongly recommend that shareholders please call or email SmartStockAdvisor.
Here are some answers to your recent questions for which we have received a response from the Company:
Q: Does HouseHold Direct.com currently have almost 350,000 members as mentioned on the 1stNetTech website under the "Contact Us" link?
A: No, that was an incorrect statement and has now been removed at the site. The 350,000 members is an anticipated figure after a series of contemplated acquisitions, the process of which is underway. The PCS acquisition, as you know, has already been completed and announced. More information on other acqusitions will be released when appropriate.
Q: What is the latest on the financial filing?
A: The auditing and reporting process are underway. The Company understands that shareholders are concerned about the timely completion of the filing, and will provide pertinent updates when appropriate. The Company has allowed us to mention that the auditors are scheduled to come in on January 3rd. The deadline for filing for HouseHold Direct.com is based on their prior company name, RDI Marketing, and is 3/23/2000.
Q: When will Banner Direct get started?
A: Banner Direct is expected to get started with their print and mailing campaign during the first quarter of 2000, after the telemarketing campaign, currently underway, evolves a bit further.
Q: What is difference between what Banner Direct and LaBreche Murray are or will be offering?
BannerDirect, a full service direct marketing agency, has been selected to create, design and implement the national and regional marketing programs for HouseHold Direct.com membership, solicitation, acquisition, activation, retention plans and initiatives. The agency is one of the country's national leaders in marketing financial services and products. Past and current clients include First Union Bank, EAB, People's Bank, U S West, and MasterCard International.
LaBreche Murray will conduct more traditional public relations efforts to help create an awareness among the general public about the company using many different potential mediums. Their efforts are not so keenly targeted on enhancing the membership base as is Banner Direct's mission but are more broad-based. LaBreche Murray will do things like work with local reporters and editors in targeted markets or contact national publications to attempt to interest them in writing an article about the company and its direction for the future.
Q: Is there a final response to the Press Release retraction of Dec. 17th
A: The Company feels that the important thing for shareholders to know is that the Press Release of Dec 16th, although released early, is now accurate.
