Corel will eventually rise but right now it is dropping rapidly. The drop has to do with many reasons:
1. Minor market correction.
2. Poor quarter report.
3. Going against the odds by trying to fight a software giant that has been able to defeat all competitors.
4. Poor confidence in management as expressed by analysts, media, mutual fund buyers and institutional buyers.
These coupled with Cowpland recent statement made to FORBES that if Java does not take off we are in trouble - which seems to have triggered the down slide.
I have sold most of my holdings and will not repurchase Corel for the present time.
One of the biggest problem with all the threads that I follow is that they turn into a cult for a particular stock, supporting the stock no matter what. Use your judgement and don't take what you read on the internet too seriously - it can misdirect you. Select stocks only recommended by experts whom you trust in stock analysis.
