Inflation is old pair of dimes kind of stuff. Therefore it is irrelevant in today's new age. I don't understand why the government even bothers compiling data and issuing the PPI/CPI. Since there is no inflation there should be not be any statistics measuring it. Also, any mention of market caps should be eliminated. Again, the new age pays no heed to valuations. After even more thought, maybe the entire bond market should be shut down because who cares about it? –g-
