I'm always glad to welcome investors to SUNW. I certainly hope you prosper by it, because if you do, that means I'll be prospering, too!

I agree there's the possibility of a dip (as a result of Y2K nonsense, decreased liquidity because people are away doing other things, etc.) in the next couple of weeks; if it happens and is deep enough, I'll be buying more, too.

Longer term, I tend to agree with the Intel guy who says 95% of the Internet buildout is still in the future (I paraphrase). It that's true, Sun doesn't even need to increase its market share to do well (although I think they will increase it, primarily at IBM's, HP's and Compaq's expense).

I wonder whether the Maffei resignation has any significance for MSFT beyond the obvious need for a replacement (already named, I believe).
