Granny told me to make sure the pickup is full of gas. If Y2K ruffles her feathers the slightest, we'll go up to the Lake where there's a cast iron stove, 2 weeks of canned goods, a non-computered water system, and lotsa' peace and quiet. Gonna' take many books. Granny's conversations kinda' come in spurts and last only a few minutes. Got a chain saw in the garage for firewood, a rifle in the cabinet if we run out of food, and a battery operated radio so we can keep up with the rest of the world. Damn. I almost wish it would happen, LOL.
