Misc KYO observations

Kyocera is in Europe, see kyocera.de "The European subsidiaries are mainly active in the sales of printers, quality photographic products and fine ceramics."

Japan and the United States are friends, and Germany and the United States are friends after the horrible World War II. There is commerce between China and Japan, for example look at Sony's China website: sony.com.cn - As enemies become friends around the world, I wouldn't rule out KYO in China someday. As there are CDMA competitors to KYO, these other parties may evenentually establish relationships with China independently.

As an environmentalist, I like that Kyocera is involved with Solar Energy - "Polycrystalline Photovoltaic Modules".

IMO video phones will be very hot, and Kyocera is involved here kyocera.co.jp is would be neat to see this product available for CDMA users.

BTW, I think KYO is a great choice, as it brings a fresh player on the scene and gives something for NOK and others to think about.

BTW2, relations seem to be improving between China and Korea, perhaps Samsung CDMA could be in China before a Western company or now Japanese company.
