Dear CobaltBlue:

I am profoundly committed to the idea that virtually everything is gray - while folk converse essentially in blacks and whites. (One, have been so committed since my school days. Two, this comprises the major flaw of Terrible Terry - he pontificates.)

Let's take this comment of yours from a post earlier today: "With respect to the discussion you and Christine were having about Christian services in the Parthenon, I agree with Christine that places that are sacred to one religion shouldn't be used as a forum for the services of another religion."

It is possible to view this from two different perspectives, as I believe happened in the discussion to which you referred.

From a Propriety view, I have no problem with what Christine was saying, or with what you gave specifics to in your post. It just is not "right" to fry in the saucepan or parboil in the skillet.

From a Proprietary approach, however, I believe it flies in the face of sharing, which should be the MO of all human beings. The idea of "Mine! Mine! Mine!" offends me.

I will not continue into boredom. I simply both agree and disagree with your statements - and find not the smallest difficuly in doing so.

Happiness to you,
