Q & A concall on now, said they were "comfortable" with current .95 estimates for 4th quarter. Deal will be immediately accretive upon close for 2 reasons:

1) Will be selling chips to third party and not internal division

2) Dumping of money losing business

In the past "comfortable" has meant they will beat the estimate by a decent amount.

Qualcomm handset brand can be used on existing phones, but whether newer phones will carry the "Qualcomm" brand is up to KYO - not decided yet.

IJ on Nokia - did continue discussions with a handful of companies right to the end. Best deal all around was KYO to advance CDMA and for employees. Still hope for "positive" relationship on ASIC chips with Nokia.
