<<They are now talking about cranking up the production rate to 35,000 tonnes per day by September 2000. This relatively small debt will be paid off quite easily and quickly after the production increase. >>

I have read production rate of 15,000 tons to produce some 300,000 ounces of PD equivalent or so. That would be $120 millions of revenus per year and I guess probably someting like $30-$40M in cash flows per years. We these numbers the current debt is relatively important. Add to this interest on this debt, as well as prefered dividemnds...plus CAPEX and interest on the CAPEX.. Not an easy situation to figure out ?

You say 35,000 tons/day... Gee that is a huge operation. If they can increase the resevres by say 50%, it could be possible... and the debt would look a lot smaller.

Definitely a very interestng situation... Can't wait for the feasibility numbers.

One thing to consider is that PD prices may not stay that high forever. There will be a replacemnt of PD by PT that will take place if PD prices continue up. WHo can predict future prices.. ?
