Squeeze=competition; competition to the existing 3 phone manufacturers was probably what Dr. J intended with this deal. If Kyocera produces a terrific product, CDMA-based, that will force the big 3 to come to the realization that they need the Q's technology much more so. Greatness of each deal depends on the details.
