Depressed about the news out of Corel?

For all those depressed about the latest news out of Corel, I visited Fry Electronics this afternoon and there is a huge display of Corel's new Linux OS. The packaging looks terrific and it seems very popular. There were a lot of people looking and examining it.

Perhaps the explanation for the loss to be reported in early January is all the R&D that went into this Linux OS, the accompanying manual, and beefing up support. That quarter ended in November, so virtually none of the revenue and most of the R&D expense for preparing the OS was reflected in that quarter. With the popularity of Corel's Linux OS, we should look for a revenue jump next quarter.

When the price stabilizes, it could be a good buying opportunity.
