Question for the thread - Regarding stop losses. For those of you who are experienced with selling puts, how do you set mental stop losses? I am planning a strategy of writing puts this year, but I am still struggling with the concept of when to cut losses prior to expiration. As a stock position trader, this was an easier decision. 7%-10% down, and I am out. But when selling puts, a small move down in the stock price can take a much larger percentage out of the premium.

Has anyone found specific percentages or other measurements to be helpful?

Any thoughts from those with experience would be appreciated.
