Yes.. they are a real example and encouragement to me in their stand for truth. Do you want to know where most of their opposition comes from other than "big brother"?
Those who call themselves Christians. They had to leave the church they were going to because the debate got too heated.

If you study the difference historically between what the Dutch and the Scottish reformation you will see a marked difference in belief about dealing with tyrannical governments. These people are from Dutch descent and go to a "Dutch" denomination. The Dutch were martyred like mad while the Scot's took up arms and fought for independence and freedom.

Both sides of the debate have very convincing arguments and reasons for their stands. Did you ever see the movie " The Mission"?

I believe we must submit to Government "until" we are asked to do or condone what God has forbidden.

However taking up arms is not an individual choice but should be done under a Lawful Minister even as David was and only as a last resort.

Humanism has a "world peace" agenda and when they discover that we are "the problem" even as Mark has pointed out, they will as you say turn on us.

Jesus said that a Good Shepherd will leave the 99 "at risk" and go after the 1 that has gone astray.

But you see the world believes in sacrificing the 1 sheep for the sake of the 99.... and then for the sake of the 98.. and then for the sake of the 97... well you know the drill and the "Rights of the 51% " :-}
