William. . .a DVD is essentially a CD, where the lasers focus on several layers. . .I believe 3 of them. . . .so wouldn't a DVD recorder be pretty much the same thing as what they are touting? I would look into whether they are holding any patents for their technology. . whether it represents something NEW. . . .or whether they are just fluffing up the pillows some.
