Oops, you are right. December 23 is the Emperor's Birthday in Japan. Sorry for thinking that it was the second day of up the limit trading in Japan. The price being currently quoted is for the close on December 22 in Japan and as we all know <G> Japan posts the December 22nd close in the early morning of the 22nd here in the US. I hadn't looked at the price action yesterday so I thought that the 5000 yen up move was for the next day. Anyway, we will have to wait until around 1 am EST on December 24th to get the Tokyo closing price for the week. That is tomorrow night, but actually the early morning of the next day. Or something like that...
