Tom, that's right. As a lawyer I can tell you that "a bad settlement is better than a good trial," as we say in the trade. Just the threat of litigation probably had a chilling effect on some potential investors.

BTW, I verified that ESHR has 17 US patents and a total of 41 worldwide. I don't know how any of them, if any, are related to the internet aspect of the business. I am sure that the expertise of Melita will help secure intellectual protection of some of the old eShare processes, if they are patentable. The more I read about this company, the more I like it.

Oh, I forgot, Did you know that latinos will be the largest minority in the US this coming decade and that the internet is growing exponentially in South America? The StarMedia deal is huge in that it guarantees early penetration into this segment (Spanish and Portuguese) of the market. Awesome!!!
