NEW YORK and SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 23, 1999--
deltathree.com, Inc. (Nasdaq: DDDC.O) and Acer America Corporation
implemented an agreement today which offers shoppers the ability to
launch a phone call from their PCs directly to Acer's sales department
by clicking on a telephone number listed on ShopAcer, Acer's
e-commerce website at www.shopacer.com. The deltathree.com e-commerce
enabling service, Click IT(TM), enables voice calls from PCs while
simultaneously viewing ShopAcer's website, to facilitate easier online
shopping.
deltathree.com's Click IT button will enable calls at no charge
to ShopAcer's customers. Click IT is a plug-in, so there is no complex
download or sign up process. It is based on the same technology used
in deltathree.com's PC-to-Phone application. Click IT is currently
deployed on a number of major shopping areas and web portals,
including Cnet.com (Nasdaq: CNET.O), Yahoo! (Nasdaq: YHOO.O), and cbs.com
(NYSE:CBS.N). Implementation for the Click IT technology is simple, and
can be accomplished on any website that has a call-in number.
