Stockdoctor, the shorts worked great. I remember shorting this stock at varying prices from 30 to 54, with initial shorts at 44. I made a killing (over 100K). I also remember that people recommending OSII here were talking about buying a thousand shares at 20 and then some more. Look at their chart since IPO. My profits tell me I have been right all along. this stock has never come back to 20, since those glorius recommendations from local residents who professed at knowing this company. I know this technology very well and have been in business over 20 years. My recent successes has been a company called Uniphase that I bought at twenties a few years back and it is trading at 280+ after splits and merger with JDS.
