Then I have been reading that wrong. That number changes with each change in the size of the Best Ask or Best Bid. In effect that makes that screen somewhat worthless, then. It's not T&S. It's just B&A. Okay, I give up. I'm not getting the volume either. Because I had it filter out anything below 10 I never noticed all the lines that come across as "Trade, 1". Might as well not even have this thing. I constantly see a bid of 2, for example. a tick hits the bid, then I see a bid still at the same price for 2. In effect no change. The only thing I can guess is that the size on the B/A is updated faster than the ticks on the trades. For example I see a 10 bid, then immediately after a 5 bid but no trade. Totally worthless. It mystifies me that this close to the Open the bids and offers should be so small. That's why I had the impression that these had to be trades "on" the Bid or "on" the Offer. I keep waiting to see how much is on the xxxx.00 price but it's vacillating between xxxx.25 and xxxx.75 so I cannot get a handle on that. I would expect the B/A on the zero price to be greater but I cannot "see" that at the moment.
