Not so sure we can dismiss the above as light weight, at least in terms of stock implications for the guy. Have you kept up with the likes of Sycamore, Juniper, JDS Uniphase, Cerent, Brocade...? Obviously, he's after the almighty dollar, as well as CEO. Big assumption, of course, is that his new company has something there...

I agree with the consensus that Microsoft should have people behind Maffei to step up (Conners). Should not be a big deal. What's next?
