INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 23, 1999--Brightpoint, Inc. (NASDAQ:CELL) announced today that it has extended its agreement with Nokia (NYSE:NOK) through December 31, 2001, for the sale and distribution of Nokia's wireless phones in the United States. Brightpoint continues to be the exclusive authorized distributor for Nokia brand wireless phones in the U.S. This agreement also authorizes Brightpoint to act as a distributor of Nokia Original Accessories.
