I think flash will grow, but high capacity applications like video and database will stay with magnetic disks (at least for a few years). Flash also wears out if written too often. So it is unsuitable for normal disk drive apps. More important writing speed is horrible for flash. So if anyone is on the window-ledge getting ready to jump, please come inside and relax. After all, some of us held WDC from 55 down to 3, how can it get worse ??? (actually it can. I also have APM from 40 to 3/8).
