Monu,

Twila indeed wrote the song in 1985. It is destined IMO to become one of the all time classics, not just because she wrote it, but because the song tells the truth. I myself cannot sing this song without tears.. I even welled up as I typed it this morning.

There is just no way I can ever repay my God and Christ for the gift given. He knows it..I know it. SO I accept it as it is given. I DO believe God has given the gift of song to many, and I enjoy the resurgence of music that is currently being written. It seems for a long time there was not much new. Not to say that the old songs, hymns and Psalms are out of style. No just the opposite has happened IMO. The new music has given me a new appreciation for the older music. There are new and old songs that go well together hand in hand.

As far as the other, it is well that I no longer post to him nor read any of his posts. If I have offended lewis7 or you or any others, then forgive me and I will try to be more humble. I thank you for your admonition. Pride goes before destruction, and I admit to that battle.

God bless

dan
