Ed Schultz: I agree. As I indicated in this thread, in my opinion, Moeffi is the type who wants to be going places in career, responsibility and in life. After Snr. VP, there isn't a whole lot of possibilities. He might have stayed if Microsoft had spun-off MSN and made him CEO and issued tracking stock. Despite street viewing Moeffi as very conservative in his guidances I always felt he was way less conservative than Gates, Balmer and the former CFO Mike Brown. Especially 99 Jan earnings report conf. call in my opinion was bit too bullish that almost got the company to miss estimates in April Q. But he handled it well. Moeffi has done wonders. During his tenure as CFO, he, I think was a major force in growing the cash + investment portfolio from around 8 Billion to current 40 Billion+. Moeffi's comments during the conference calls were enjoyable. Moeffi knew and talked about the company's products more than any CFO's could or would. Greg Moeffi, best wishes to you. By the way, how well is Connors regarded inside? What is his style.
