The attitude is "yes I am nervous but if I buy in these conditions now I will seriously run up the price on myself". Before next week is done that attitude will change to "just get it, get me covered, take the hit". Its coming, All these QCOM MM's calling each other saying "oh hey, you guys showing any paper on the sell side." Someone is going to yell fire in this theater and if liquidity doesn't show, 600 or 700 could happen. I'm serious, the one thought I keep hearing about this situation is "remeber what happened to the NYSE specialist in AOL last year?" (Not to mention a few 3rd market makers)
