CIBC ups target price on GENE @ 12:13 today and reiterates STRONG BUY "Based on the valuations of companies in the genomics space, we are raising our price target for GENE shares to $24 from $8. We are increasing our estimate for fiscal year 2000 to a gain of $0.28 per share from a loss of $0.22 because of expected licensing and milestone payments from this deal."
