Anybody else see the second-funniest part of that downgrade? (Other than the date -- I'm sure their clients are happy for the expert advice they can't get by looking at the giant red down-arrow on their quote screen.) They give it a 12-month price target of $70, ten dollars less than yesterday's close, and they have a neutral opinion as to whether you should buy, hold, or sell!

Last market comment of the day from me: Everybody can see this is a forced march, no question of that. But even for a forced march, it's just for show: my daily notes have us at a volume/#trades of 6644400/4289 at 14:19, and 6826500/4492 at 14:53. That's an average trade size of 897 shares on the way up, significantly lower than just about any period today. (I have six or seven other samples, and they're all in the 1200-1400 range.) I'm starting to think very seriously that a total collapse by January expiration is not out of the question, Windows 2000 be damned.
