Did you reboot after installing vbrun5? If you are using NT then look for a different vbrun5 (in one of the first 5 posts I think). There's also a file list of the files vbrun5 installs posted earlier that you can check and see if they are in your windows\system directory. I'm trying to help but I have mentioned all of this before and I really don't know what else to do. Others have mentioned this exact problem check with them and see what they did.
