Ike, I follow food and ag companies when they are dirt cheap, which they are not right now (what is in this bubble?). I have played everything from Yohnnie Deere to ConAgra to the fertilizer cos. But I don't have any positions right now. It is a good place to fish after the crash, but, almost nothing looks cheap at this time.

ASA has come down a little and I am hoping for $17 to jump back in. DeBeers made me soooooo happy for the 43rd time in my lifetime that I have even forgiven them for their obnoxious ads telling some sucker how much to pay for a diamond to marry a woman I turned out for free. <VBG> I have none at the moment.

Stillwater is a sore point with me. I bought a third when it dropped to $20 near Halloween, and have made 40% on that money. But I should have backed up the truck. Of course, after the race, it is easy to know when we should have bet more money. <g> I still have the third, but am not adding here. I love platinum, palladium and rhodium (she used to be Mary Tyler Moore's neighbor), but I think SWC still has some yield and mgt. problems. If those work out ok, it is off to $38 in a shot. But if not, we may get an early Halloween in 2000.
