Sheila, good to hear from you! I think we'll see lots more Clik! and ZIP applications in 2000. It feels like the ice has been broken. The favorable reviews and awards can't hurt. I realize - the bottom line counts, but there is reason for hope. Those harping on Iomega's 'obsolete' technology are wrong. The consumer wants what is useful
to her, regardless of how leading edge it may be. Iomega must push what they already have.

I was at Fry's in Sunnyvale yesterday and noticed that most
removable storage on display was ZIP 250s. There were a few Superdisks and a handful of Orbs [in OEM boxes]. No Hi-FD.

Did you read the report from the TMF poster who got his Agfa
Clik! camera today? I definitely want one. I may wait until
a zoom model is available.

Remember how we discussed these Clik! applications here two years ago? GPS with Clik! is one of my favorites. Clik! would be used to download maps for the GPS. Right now GPS
with maps uses flash, I think.

There are posters who proclaim the end of magnetic storage is near. Hogwash! The cost of magnetic storage is so much lower than ANY alternative that it will be around for many years.

Happy Holidays!

Gottfried
