I enjoy your posts, Andrew. My particular observation is that we spend too much time debating the latest hits in the industry and not enough time on the macro elements in this industry - which is now outgrossing Hollywood itself.

In other words; what about Nintendo? What about Sony? What, indeed, about Sega? What about the long rumored X Box clunker?

Also, and this is my particular point, what about the gismos we buy to make playing games more enticing, such as those who sell racing wheels for Grand Prix II or fishing rods for Bass fishing. Okay pretty humdrum stuff, until you realize that for every $100 spent on a console there is $32.40 spent on an accessory - and only $287 spent on a front line game.
